About the Role

The Groceries team is looking for a Junior Account Manager to manage a portfolio of grocery merchants in Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your strategic thinking and leadership skills within our team. We're seeking someone with a knack for data analysis, turning insights into actionable plans, and inspiring teams to innovate.

As a Junior Account Manager, you'll focus on relationship management and sales, nurturing valuable accounts while executing daily activities to strengthen partnerships and optimize performance. This role involves both analytical tasks and hands-on execution of commercial strategies, ensuring an outstanding experience for our partners.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Commercial Lead with financial, operational, and planning processes.
  • Execute commercial strategies through regular Business Reviews to meet targets.
  • Consistently exceed monthly targets.
  • Manage a small-format account derived from a main Parent Account.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies for a Commercial Hub.
  • Analyze data to identify pain points and plan accordingly.
  • Manage new city expansions and merchant acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for optimal consumer experiences.
  • Report on business performance metrics from multiple data sources.
  • Identify and escalate complex support issues for timely resolution.

What You'll Need

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills to identify and execute opportunities.
  • Team player with excellent presentation and selling skills.
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills within cross-functional teams and key merchant points of contact.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills to convey the value of Uber's products.
  • Ability to transform insights into actionable solutions.
  • Effective prioritization and time management skills.
  • Positive, self-driven attitude with a desire to learn.
