Position Overview
Responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales region and/or accounts. Generates and secures new business-to-business (B2B) sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers. Generates revenue and/or profit margin in their region and accounts. Focuses on regional (multi state) market accounts and prospects. Pro-actively sells programs/services to existing customers, as well as "cold-calling" prospective commercial clients. This role typically achieves and manages a larger portfolio, consisting of regional accounts.

Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for generating new business to business (B2B) sales revenue by prospecting and adding new regional and local commercial customers
- Sells programs and services to existing customers by maintaining key customer relationships and developing and implementing strategies for expanding the company's customer base
- Conducts lead follow-up, retention calls and service calls through telemarketing and person-to-person contact
- Works collaboratively with local Business Development Representatives, Regional Commercial Sales Managers and General Managers to define and share best practices and deliver solutions to commercial customers
- Works with local Business Development Representatives, General Managers, Service Managers and Commercial Account Specialists to execute work, drive customer satisfaction, and resolve customer issues in a timely manner
- Penetrates new accounts and achieves sales plan in all key areas: revenue, new accounts, up-sell and renewal of existing customers
- May be called upon to mentor Business Development Representatives
- Develop and implement annual sales plans that will encompass retention, upsells, and new sales to exceed goals

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experience preferred
- Minimum eight (8) years of sales experience in business to business sales and experience selling large multi-state accounts preferred
- Experience proposing and selling to C-Suite executives
- Experience with Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RPQ) processes
- Landscaping, lawncare, tree and shrub or pest management experience, licenses, or certifications preferred
- Valid Driver's License required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to build customer relationships and provide customer service
- Ability to influence executive leadership and negotiate
- Ability to travel more than 20% of the year
- Ability to understand large-volume pricing and PPW utilization
- Advanced computer knowledge, efficiencies and understanding to include Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook/Office 365. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM strongly preferred
- Knowledge and ability to cope with and resolve escalated customer service issues
- Conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of the organization's products and services
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Mathematical skill to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and volume
- Time management skills, including ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks relating to large, multi-state/region clients

Pay Ranges
$54,983.00 - $91,638.00
This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
