Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with commercial operations and technical teams to achieve quarterly sales targets.
- Identify and develop business opportunities by understanding customer needs alongside services, product teams, and customers.
- Follow up on action items and opportunities identified during customer workshops and executive meetings.
- Develop strategies for each customer account to expand the sales pipeline and increase order bookings.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute strategy.
- Stay informed about industry developments, including FERC regulations and emerging market needs.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, including C-Suite executives, vendor relations, and procurement teams.
- Actively listen to customers and address their needs and pain points with urgency.
- Collaborate with GE Vernova and customer procurement teams to finalize and execute contract documents proactively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the electricity market or a related field.
- Proven expertise in managing complex customer relationships and driving sales growth.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of electricity markets, ISO/RTO operations, and related software solutions.
- MBA degree from an accredited university or college.
- Familiarity with industry trends and regulatory environments.

Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $118,000USD - $148,000USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for bonus.
