Tripadvisor seeks a passionate Lead Analyst for our B2B Media Analytics team. In this role, you will uncover actionable insights into media planning, product, sales, and client-facing partners. You will work closely with the Director of B2B advertising, other leaders and stakeholders across the globe.
You are an experienced and articulate Analyst who leads, mentors and works with exceptional data analysts. You have a consulting mindset and partner across the organization and the globe. You thrive on large datasets and enjoy high-impact, complex data projects. You are not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting into details. You are an individual contributor but will mentor junior team members and contractors. Junior team members may also report to you.

What You'll Do
- Develop impactful and insight-driven analyses and reports. Bring a practical bent to analytic problem solving, identifying the most efficient solutions to complex challenges. Develop standards, define KPIs and ensure high-quality output. Create end-to-end views of the business that enable a deeper understanding of customer experience and business performance.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to build analytics plans for new products and features, helping the Media team understand which metrics need to be measured and which events need to be tracked.
- Work on large-scale clickstream, Google Ad Manager, DV360, email and other large datasets to generate insights for your stakeholders and optimize revenue opportunities. Track business performance across our various products and solutions.
- Lead A/B experiments from the Data side by supporting experiment design, tracking, implementation and owning the final analysis and readout.
- Work with data engineering teams to ensure reliable and timely data is available for analyses and reporting.
- Align and balance the demands of competing stakeholders, ensuring that we're working on the top priorities for the business. Own the roadmap and manage the lifecycle of strategically important analytics projects.
- Coach and mentor junior data analysts to upgrade team skills, provide training and develop standard processes and methods. Mentor team members with processes and analytical and technical expertise for executing experiments, building pipelines and answering open ended business questions
- QA new event tracking to ensure accuracy of our data
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business or other related fields.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in media analytics at a data-driven company.
- Deep expertise with SQL and Tableau (or similar business intelligence tools) is essential. Experience with Hive, Snowflake and Python is desirable.
- Experience in working with large-scale data is a must. Exposure to web/app clickstream, CRM, Google Ad Manager, and DV360 are desirable.
