In this role, you will serve as a Scrum Master for two teams: one is a team of onshore and offshore resources to deliver Decisioning and fraud market initiatives on our Decisioning platform, the other is a team of offshore developers with onshore product support, providing delivery on our Ab Initio platform, a general-purpose data processing platform. We are seeking a technically savvy individual with the strong collaborative skills required to manage initiatives of varying scope.

  • You will be the primary contact to internal stakeholders (Product Management, IT, Portfolio management etc.) and will be accountable for ensuring there is release delivery alignment. Ensure the teams stay focused and know the tasks they must accomplish in the time given and meeting the sprint goals/ PI objectives.
  • Understand and embody the general principles of Agile with an emphasis on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Uphold the principles of Scrum, be a servant leader with experience mentoring and coaching teams on Agile methodology and Scrum values and process.
  • Support the Product Owner for healthy backlog management.
  • Facilitate all Scrum events (Daily stand up, Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, backlog refinement etc) , participate in Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies including PI (Program Increment) Planning, ART Synch, and empower the team's commitment to PI and sprint objectives.
  • Organize PO Synchup on everyday basis to ensure communication flow.
  • Initiate/Participate in cross organization dependencies for/from other Scrum teams (Scrum-of-Scrum). Help the team to stay updated in terms of dependencies, backlog, risks or other concerning areas.
  • Track and monitor milestones, facilitate mitigation of risks and issues, ensuring transparency and visibility to the organization.
  • Collaborate with the team and other members of the ART to identify and resolve problems, remove impediments/barriers for the team; escalating to the RTE as needed.
  • Ensure that release deliverables are submitted and that quality standards defined by the team are consistently met (per acceptance criteria and definition of done).
  • Daily maintenance of Jira boards, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all data and information.
  • Estimation - Facilitate estimation from Epic to Story level - support in understanding the estimation of the backlog items both at sprint and epic level.

What You'll bring:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working with and coaching Scrum teams
  • A minimum of 5-8 years' of applicable business experience in Information Technology and risk industry (credit or financial services background preferred)
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies and Agile at Enterprise Scale
  • Strong facilitation and collaboration skills
  • Technical proficiency and skill level to learn solution configurations
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
We'd Love to See:
  • Certification(s) in Agile methodologies (such as PMI-ACP, CSM, SA, SASM or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Strong understanding of and demonstrated experience in using Jira
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
