Who we're looking for

Toyota's Enterprise Cost Analysis Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Sr. Analyst NA Fixed Cost.

The primary responsibility of this role is to help lead the North America budget and forecast process for Fixed Costs.

Reporting to the Manager, NA Fixed Cost Analysis, the person in this role will support the Enterprise Cost Analysis department's objective to achieve company profit goals through the management of fixed costs.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate annual and quarterly Fixed Cost budget process, including timeline development, deliverables, and coordinated management review process
  • Review financial inputs, analyze and report risks/opportunities to profit targets, and determine appropriate corporate overlays and seasonality adjustments as needed.
  • Analyze forecast variances, identify business issues and expense drivers, and present results to senior Finance Management
  • Contribute to attaining the North America fixed-cost spending plan by understanding expense drivers and developing insightful analyses. Coordinate with Finance and corporate to adjust activities and mitigate impacts.
  • Prepare presentations to Executive management on North America Fixed Cost financial results and outlook throughout the year

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and/or related disciplines
  • Experience with BPC planning / SAP or other financial consolidation tools
  • Excellent analytic, presentation, interpersonal, and organization skills required
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline and detail-driven environment
  • Strong PC proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and effectively apply data manipulation tools to analyze large datasets

Added bonus if you have

  • Data analysis and visualization using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, BW, etc.
  • Master's in Business Administration
  • Understanding of the automotive industry
