Job Title: HRIS Analyst – Fixed Term
Reports to: HR Digital Solution Manager
Location: Ventura, CA

General Summary
The HRIS Analyst will be a technical and strategic partner to HR and key Business Partners to support Company business objectives and maximize global Workday utilization on a fixed-term bases. Primary areas of focus include benefit administration, time tracking and time off, Integration maintenance and troubleshooting, and payroll, as well as support for other functional areas as needed. Outstanding HRIS analysts combine their HR knowledge with expertise in HRIS to ensure optimal HR management and will have responsibility for planning, risk management, task management, issue-tracking and resolution, customer communications, and on-time delivery of quality results.

What You’ll Do
Time/Time off/Payroll
- Partner with the Payroll Team to troubleshoot payroll issues that arise to ensure successful payroll settlement
- Serve as the go-to person and subject matter expert for any issues that present in time calculations, and time off, and payroll including data/reporting.
- Analyze system integrity and reliability; maintain and troubleshoot Workday Payroll, Time, and time off and perform routine production support as needed.
- Understand and follow company policies surrounding data governance, security, and process development.
- Provide support with configuration changes in these areas as needed.
Benefit Administration
- Support the Benefit Team with troubleshooting and resolving benefit enrollment questions and issues.
- Partner with the Benefit Team to understand benefit plan enrollment and eligibility rules; maintain all benefit plan and rule configuration.
- Partner with HR Digital Solutions team members to maintain benefit integrations.
- Create communication and documentation to aid the benefit team in navigating the nuances of Workday Benefit processing
- Provide configuration support for benefit plan changes as needed.
Integration Maintenance
- Partner with IT and other functional teams as the go-to person for Workday integration maintenance and errors.
- Understand and follow company policies surrounding data governance, security, and integration development.
- Analyze system integrity and reliability; maintain and troubleshoot Workday integrations with other applications and vendors; perform routine production support as needed.
- Throughout the year, provide end-user troubleshooting, remediation, and escalation management to reach successful resolution.
Other Responsibilities
- Respond to HR Helpdesk tickets specific to areas of responsibility, as well as assist with other requests as needed.
- Adhoc report writing as requested
- Participate in user group meetings/conferences. Access Workday on-line resources such as Community, Customer Care, Learning Center.
- Serve as backup for HR Digital Solution Team members as necessary.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with HRIS systems and a proven track record of Workday experience.
- Must be experienced in Workday Payroll, Time Off, and Benefit Administration with minimum of 3 years of practical Workday experience.
- Working knowledge of XML, XLST, SOAP, and REST calls is required.
- Proficiency with Workday application: HCM, benefits, organization, compensation, absence, time, payroll, recruiting, talent/performance.
- A solid and proven track record in project management including update releases and cross functional projects.
- A passion for conservation and commitment to protecting the environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. The ability to write clearly and persuasively in addition to defining problems and articulating solutions within a group setting.
- Comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
- Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on all areas of responsibility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal privacy and numerous interruptions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to do computer work and look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Ability to maintain a composed and professional demeanor within a flexible and busy work environment.
- On an as-needed basis, ability to travel domestically and internationally utilizing various transportation methods.
