Toyota's Brand Engagement Center (BEC) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Learning, Development Training Analyst. (Corporate Trainer/Facilitator).

The primary responsibility of this role is to Facilitate/Train the New Hire Curriculum and other training courses for the employees in the Brand Engagement Center. Assist in creating training materials and maintaining training materials.

Reporting to the Learning and Development & Knowledge Management Manager, the person in this role will support the Brand Engagement Center department's objective to:

  • Enhance Customer Experience: To provide a centralized platform for customers to interact with the brand, ensuring a seamless and positive experience across various touchpoints.
  • Build Brand Loyalty: To foster deeper connections with customers through personalized interactions.
  • Facilitate Communication: To serve as a hub for communication between the brand and its customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing support.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and deliver training for in person classroom and virtual environments for New Hire training programs, refresher training and other training programs for various roles in the BEC.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
  • New Hire Training: Act as resources for the learners during the nesting time with a mentor.
  • Act as a resource for the learners during the Pathway to Proficiency (P2P) time when learners go to the floor and start taking live calls. Work the chat line and offer assistance as needed and facilitate the weekly learning sessions.
  • Refresher Training/Workshops: Identify refresher training needs and deliver or coordinate training as needed. This may include creating new training workshops and developing content for new systems, processes, and/or products. Coordinate new hire refresher forums to ensure thorough understanding of systems, processes, and products.
  • Training for other BEC roles such as Digital Communications, Chat, Case Management, etc.
  • Content Development: Assist in creating training materials as new programs, processes, and systems are introduced. Work with stakeholders to fully understand the new program, process and/or system. Thoroughly test new training materials prior to delivering the training. Help to identify/recommend new processes or techniques to train Brand Engagement Advocates (BEA). Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all aspects of the BEC environment.
  • This position is responsible for making recommendations and/or developing/updating content for new hire, refresher training, new training workshops, and learning sessions to assist with BEA development.

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and conduct training and presentations in alignment with Adult Learning Theory.
  • Created new training workshops and developed training content for new systems, processes and or products.

Skills/Hands on Technical proficiency:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and a general understanding of web-based applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpretation and analytical skills
  • Conduct Needs Analysis to identify skill gaps and training requirements when developing new training content

Evaluate training:

  • Gather feedback from training to improve future training programs
  • Monitor new hire progress and ensure their adherence to company policies
