Who we're looking for

Toyota's Denver region is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated District Parts & Service Manager.

The primary responsibility of this role is to be the primary point of contact for all dealer and district service and parts related activities.

Reporting to the Regional Customer Service Field Manager, the person in this role will support the Denver Regional Office's objective to increase parts and accessories purchases and improve customer satisfaction/retention.

What you'll be doing:

  • Communicate and administer Toyota service and parts policies, procedures and philosophies with Toyota dealers to ensure and maximize customer satisfaction/retention
  • Maximize the sale of genuine Toyota parts through dealers while maintaining dealer purchase loyalty and smooth parts supply to Toyota owners
  • Assist District Sales Manager with SmartPath implementation activities for dealerships in district (SmartPath dealership awareness / communication / education / launch / sustainment).
  • Counsel with dealership management regarding the profitability, customer satisfaction and proper operation of service and parts departments within the assigned district
  • Monitor dealer warranty expense to ensure compliance with Toyota Policies and Procedures
  • Provide leadership by demonstrating good personal organization and time utilization by applying the managerial skills of planning, controlling, and reviewing
  • Motivate personnel at all levels within the scope of the specific duties of this position
  • Personal interaction with customers to counsel on technical and/or warranty concerns

What you bring

  • 2 years of varied automotive experience (within the corporate sales division or regional office)
  • Completion of the Management Trainee program (if internal)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel overnight frequently
  • Working knowledge of:

    • Toyota service & parts policies and procedures
    • Dealer service & parts operating systems and processes
    • Toyota dealer operating standards
    • Warranty policies and procedures
    • Toyota customer survey system
    • Toyota Customer Services programs and operational elements
    • Toyota dealer financial statement
    • Dealer parts inventory practices
  • Technical training certification structure and requirements
  • Management & professional training certification structure and requirements
  • Service & parts recognition award program elements
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products

Added bonus if you have

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business or automotive-related subject
  • Used vehicle automotive experience
