Value Added Reseller DM

As a Major Accounts VAR DM, you will identify and cultivate new business opportunities by driving strategic HCM initiatives to enable the sales activities of the VAR sales team. Identifying and gaining access into new VAR Firms while delivering ADP's very unique ERP and HCM value proposition will be key as you work with some of the best and brightest in the industry. By building relationships with these firms, the expectation will be to pull leads from various centers of influence that exist in the VAR organization. This is inclusive but not limited to sales consultants, business development, solution architects, consultants, and account managers. Through these interactions and relationships, you will be co-selling with the VAR firm and building your own brand in the VAR community.

You will be able to grow your own business while still having the support of exceptional sales leadership, continual sales training, advancement opportunities, and industry-leading compensation, benefits and rewards. Additional responsibilities include the following:

  • Consistently achieve/exceed an annual sales quota; selling to both new accounts as well as existing ADP clients where a vast majority of effort will be spent on new account acquisition
  • Develop and execute VAR firm business plans to define your strategies and tactics for success leveraging the Partner Advantage Reseller Program
  • Develop strong relationships and collaborate closely with internal channels, product and integration partners; optimizing "center of influence" to best fit prospect and VAR's needs during the sales process
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team to drive HCM expansion with new/existing clients and firms.
  • Technical knowledge regarding ERP integrations

ADP believes in setting you up for success. As such, appropriately ramped quotas are assigned to all first year VAR District Managers.

Minimum Qualifications:

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of quota carrying, outside business-to-business sales experience, with proven proficiency in selling and presentation skills, prospecting, and territory management
  • Track record of over achieving quota
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment
  • New Business sales experience
  • Military experience - skills including teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a "never lose" mentality will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5- 10 years of relevant experience in HCM, business consulting, finance or accounting
  • In depth understanding of strategic sales processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to C-suite level executives
  • Ability to leverage social media to promote thought leadership ideas and drive business development opportunities in your local market
  • Utilize established network connections
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand multiple industry issues and potential ways to integrate ADP's HCM solutions
  • Mature and self-confident
  • Capacity to work under pressure
  • Strong work ethic
  • Committed to building a career path
  • ERP, Consulting or Finance Experience
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $54,300.00 - $117,400.00 / Year
