JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Talent Development Partner, Japan is responsible for supporting Director, Talent Japan in planning and creation of Talent strategies and initiatives for Japan markets, setting up a two-way communications platform between the Company and employees, implementing company policies, partnering up with Talent Acquisition team on retail store staff recruitment, C&B, employee relations & staffing issues. Being agile and act as a business partner to continue building the brand and high performing teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the daily operation
- Works closely with the Regional Talent team in driving Talent initiatives in talent management, compensation & benefits and employee relations
- Support the implementation of global Talent initiatives such as performance planning and career & development planning
- Responsible for managing the execution of general Talent activities
- Monitoring the sourcing and recruiting for Retail store
- Collaborates with functional teams on Talent initiatives
- Works as business partner with Area Managers, City Manager and Store Managers to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of Talent management
- Maintain HRIS system (Workday) accuracy and headcount management to align with global standards
- Support ad-hoc tasks/project as required
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Degree holder with a minimum of 3-5 years HR generalist experience
- Luxury retail experience is a plus
- Proven work record as good stakeholder management
- Detailed-oriented, multi-tasked, independent and well-organized, able to integrate in a work culture of speed and agility
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, team-player and work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Native or fluent Japanese and business level English
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoint
