About the team
In this role, you will be part of Malaysia TikTok Shop Category & Merchant Strategy's Special Project function, driving key assortment operations projects with strategic research, data analytics, and project management
Responsibilities
- Responsible for analytics and business planning for assortment operations, including conducting platform-wise assortment structure screening and analysis to identify key assortment gaps and growth opportunities. In addition, responsible for formulating growth strategies and key target metrics with identified opportunities, and facilitating consensus building with key country team stakeholders
- Responsible for the tactical design of assortment operations projects, including assortment selection , assortment support, target tracking, and operational analytics framework
- Responsible for cross-functional communications of assortment operations to secure adequate understanding and support for our strategy. Key stakeholders include: Cluster team leaders and project POCs, regional team (product, data, resource management etc.), strategy team and finance team
- Manage a sizable Assortment Growth-related budget
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5 years working experience. Past experience in e-commerce platform's assortment growth strategy is strongly preferred
- Fluent with Excel-based analytics and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Eager to learn and always up to take on new challenges. Experience in dynamic and fast-changing working environments is strongly preferred
- Open to flexible working arrangement outside of regular working hours per business requirements, and open to business travels
