Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality. As the Anti-fraud product manager, you will be responsible for building, improving, and monitoring business processes that detect and prevent fraudulent activities in various scenarios including but not limited to transactions, KYC, after-sales and seller-buyer-creator interactions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing forward-looking strategies or solutions for business security risks related to account security, bot behavior/scraping, and privacy data breaches, be responsible for the effect of security solution plans
- Collaborate with the tech, analytics, and algorithm departments to establish and improve systems for risk perception, identification, mitigation, and effectiveness measurement
- Build a comprehensive risk management framework that covers the entire business process, aiming to reduce key metrics related to account take over/fake accounts, bot traffic attacks, privacy data breaches, or associated fraud.
- Engage with various business, operation, tech and security/risk stakeholders to ensure quick mitigation solve risk problems at scale
Manage priorities and balance trade-offs between seller experience, user experience, creator experience, and platform performance/protection within the ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above with a background in Computer Science, Business Analytic, Math, Statistics, or related fields
- 2 years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Antifraud, Finance Service, Risk Management, Trust & Safety.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis is required, analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment, and driving innovation on behalf of internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding of new fraud motives and sensible diagnosis of key control points, and proven communication skills in verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in eCommerce or Tech industry is a plus
- Fundamental understanding of statistics or Machine Learning based algorithms is a plus
- Fundamental technical understanding is a plus

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156864 - $296020 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
