About the team
The Seller Experience, Policy and Moderation team at TikTok is committed to fostering a safe and vibrant marketplace for our users and empowering sellers to thrive. Our team plays a pivotal role in shaping and enforcing policies that govern seller behavior and content on our platform.
As the Program Manager for Seller Policy and Moderation, you will be responsible for developing and shaping policies and product procedures to ensure compliance with platform guidelines and regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce policies, address violations, and maintain a positive seller and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
-Develop recommendations to shape policies and guidelines governing seller behavior, content, and transactions on TikTok Shop, ensuring alignment with platform values and industry standards.
-Define and communicate seller policies, procedures, and enforcement mechanisms by collaborating with legal, policy, and product teams.
-Investigate and resolve seller disputes, appeals, and escalations related to policy enforcement and moderation decisions.
-Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in seller policy compliance and moderation processes.
-Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop and implement tools and technologies to enhance policy enforcement and moderation capabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
-Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and driving process improvements related to policy enforcement and moderation.
-Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor/Master degree in business, law, policy, or a related field.
-5 years of experience in e-commerce, partnering with product and business stakeholders on policy and moderation.
-Experience working with content moderation tools and technologies is a plus.
-Passion for fostering a safe marketplace environment for both sellers and customers on TikTok Shop.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $121600 - $232644 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
