We are seeking a Strategy and Operations Manager to join the Global Creative Ads Monetization team, focusing on creative operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, with relevant educational qualifications and experience in data-driven strategy or operations roles. In this position, you will analyze market trends, financial data, and performance metrics to develop and execute go-to-market strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative product management, engineering, and sales, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives. Additionally, strong project management and communication skills are essential for managing multiple projects, driving revenue growth, and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence & Business Planning
- Collaborate with Operations members to shape go-to-market strategies using a data-driven approach, identifying priorities and gaps, and recommending actionable plans.
- Drive strategic planning with operational rigor, including conducting operational reviews and tracking performance against regional goals.
- Lead critical regional projects, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams and securing buy-in from Operations stakeholders.
- Analyze the efficiency of TikTok's creative product revenue growth, subsidy utilization, and ROI, and identify measures for improvement.
- Estimate the total addressable market and identify high-quality global business opportunities to support an effective GTM strategy.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Own the regional data analytics framework, ensuring data hygiene, improving data sets, aligning metrics, and creating dashboards while leveraging workflows with DE teams.
- Conduct ad-hoc market research to explore potential business opportunities, such as new partnerships, technologies, and competitor products.
- Design and manage attainment reporting cadences, enabling effective understanding and accountability among Operations members.
- Perform deep-dive analyses on priority advertisers, pods, or industries to support the Operations team and unlock further revenue opportunities.
- Guide the team in quantifying creative KPIs and identifying specific areas for improvement, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Provide thought leadership on creative industry trends and emerging monetization opportunities in digital advertising.
- Collaborate with creative product management and engineering teams to develop monetization strategies.
- Coordinate with other internal teams, including strategy and product teams, to deliver industry-specific creative playbooks to advertisers and sales teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or tech corporate strategy (note: this does not include total years of experience).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market analysis and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools, with the ability to derive insights from data and use them to inform decision-making.
- An understanding of how a creative ad campaign works and how success is measured.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to excel under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on finding solutions for clients, improving internal processes, and delivering actionable feedback.
- A problem solver with the ability to think on your feet.
- Self-starter with a strong motivation to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, hypergrowth environment.
- A product mindset with experience working with or on product teams.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $103000 - $244000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
