Team Introduction:

The EUI Finance AR Team is in charge of the full O2C process, from credit risk assessment to contract review, payment terms assignment, billing queries and adjustments (including rebates and incentives), account suspensions and re-activations, overdue management and reduction, amicable collection and legal action, bad debt accruals, and write-offs.

Position Summary:

TikTok is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join our EU team. In this role, you will handle credit assessments and mitigate credit risk, maintain credit control systems, among other responsibilities. The new hire will play an integral role in assisting with credit management decisions and will act as a business partner to balance credit risks and business growth.

- Develop and optimize the annual credit management strategy and set measurable goals.
- Demonstrate strategic, big-picture thinking to scale credit control operations by upgrading methodologies and collaborating with the system team to create sustainable solutions.
- Review credit line applications and perform timely credit risk assessments, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement analysis, balancing the need for swift support of TikTok's Ads business with prudent risk evaluation.
- Proactively monitor and evaluate ongoing risks, anticipate potential issues, and escalate red flags to key stakeholders as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and special cases to mitigate risks effectively.
- Undertake additional credit-related tasks, including methodology discussions with the global credit control team, cross-functional collaboration on collection efforts, and preparation of credit reports to support client and business needs.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams, providing recommendations to improve processes and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate credit risk management, with familiarity in the digital advertising industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with Mid-Market clients and advertising agencies is highly desirable.
