About the team
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
The Product Business Partner (Product BP) team leads change management and transition of initiatives of Trust and Safety (T&S) operations. It evaluates and assesses process changes for implementation in T&S operations. The team acts as an entry point between business and T&S operations for all requests related to product, policy or process.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with regional teams to ensure effective operationalization of the community guidelines, safety strategies, and ad-hoc response to regional events, including PR, Policy, Product, other parties in Trust & Safety and vendor teams in respective markets;
- Coordinating with your global team counterparts and help assess, coordinate and manage global projects in regional teams;
- Maintaining an updated status of projects that are underway and navigate stakeholders through the effort of Trust & Safety Operations;
- Acting as a bridge in helping stakeholders better navigate the principles, priorities, and operations of T&S Operations;
- Identifying areas of improvement and running improvement projects in all operational aspects in your respective markets.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of related Product experience within operations, Trust & Safety, consumer technology space and/or tech companies
- Proven experience managing regional/global process improvement projects
- Experience in managing stakeholders from all level and regions
- Good communication (both written and spoken) skills in English and Mandarin (to work with external Mandarin speaking stakeholders)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of Bachelor's Degree or above
- You are a self-starter and take initiative in driving practical processes
- Good data analysis experience with strong ability to use data to make business decisions
