Team Introduction
The Procurement Team plays a critical role in the business and is responsible for the strategic design and end-to-end processes involved in the purchase of goods and services in a sustainable and financially viable way, in compliance with business standards. We are responsible for sourcing and onboarding new vendors, supporting the development of key company systems and processes, maintaining a strategic overview of project procurement management activities, and ensuring that purchasing contracts and arrangements are fulfilled in strict accordance with legal requirements, project specifications, and business policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Support Procurement Projects: Collaborate with internal teams to support procurement activities, including assigned projects as well as work to support and improve day to day procurement activities including the sourcing of goods/services and vendor management.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, performance metrics, cost-saving opportunities and provide insights for better decision-making.
- System & Process Improvements: Assist in the development and implementation of procurement systems and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
- Vendor Communication & Relationship Management: Engage with vendors to ensure clear communication of requirements and timelines, addressing any issues proactively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Finance, Legal, Operations, etc.) to support the alignment of procurement strategies and company goals.
- Identify & Share Improvement Ideas: Regularly propose process and system improvements based on data analysis and market research.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and systems.
- Ability to develop and manage product strategies, roadmaps, and goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Looker or similar) with experience in developing reports and dashboards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with vendors.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication skills is critical for success! Must be inquisitive and always seeking to learn. Able to articulate questions, concerns and know when to/not afraid to escalate and ask for help when needed

Preferred qualifications
- Internship or practical experience in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis roles, particularly in a tech-driven or fast-paced company..
- Experience with procurement platforms, marketplaces, and resource management systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and a strong understanding of procurement processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and improving procurement processes or systems.
- Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies for large cross-functional areas.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in metric definition and performance analysis.
- Experience in evaluating and applying global market trends to product decisions.
- Strong track record of coordinating with international Product R&D teams and promoting cooperative efforts.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $68400 - $72000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
