About the Team
TikTok's SMB team helps businesses of all sizes unleash their creative potential and achieve marketing success on our platform. Our New Business Development Team is responsible for acquiring new advertisers and marketing agencies, guiding them from prospecting to deal closure and initial activation. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clients experience a smooth transition and long-term success on TikTok Ads.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, pitch, and close new business opportunities for the TikTok Ads Platform.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline while ensuring a high-quality client experience.
- Work closely with decision-makers to align TikTok Ads strategies with their marketing objectives.

- Provide onboarding support for newly acquired clients to ensure smooth activation before transitioning them to the Account Management team.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing to optimize lead generation and execute sales initiatives.
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach to onboarding, driving revenue growth.
- Work with cross-functional partners to identify key growth industries and execute strategic sales initiatives.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales performance goals.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Experience in sales and/or business development.
- Fluency in Korean and English to support local clients and collaborate with global teams.
- Strong understanding of Korea's SMB industry landscape.
- Proven ability to build and manage a pipeline of business opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in sales or business development with a proven track record of exceeding performance targets.
- Experience with lead-generation strategies and outbound prospecting.
- Knowledge of digital advertising, performance marketing, or online media platforms.
