About the team
As a Legal Policy Operations Triage Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our global community by tackling sensitive content and assessing risk in livestream escalations.
Responsibilities
- Immediate assessment and review of Emergency & Child Safety Livestream content that poses an extreme risk of serious injury or death to a user and /or child abuse or exploitation
- Extensive knowledge across relevant policies to enable swift decision making adhering to robust SLA's
- Reviewing content, posts, comments, users profiles while assessing the escalation in line with a risk assessment matrix
- Record relevant notes and decisions in line with policies and SOP's

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes
- The ability to work with sensitive issues that include suicide content, child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, and adult content
- Drive and participate in key projects across Trust and Safety
- This role requires you to work permanent full weekend coverage and public holidays due to the necessity of 24/7 coverage during normal office hours
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluency in English (written and verbal communication)
- 1-2yrs experience in Trust Safety, Law Enforcement/Government agencies
- Experience with handling and viewing distressing and sensitive content
- Ability to perform duties objectively, devoid of inherent biases or personal beliefs
- Experience of assessing risk and the ability to think critically and make quick decisions
- Experience working independently with sound judgement and communicating with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in a second language in Japanese/Turkish/French/Vietnamese to support market specific requests amongst others (written and verbal communication);
- Demonstrate good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt communication styles to suit different stakeholders, like cross-functional teams.
