Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 12-week long internship period.
- Support your assigned business unit(s) by gaining an understanding of business goals and helping to implement effective HR practices.
- Assist line management by providing HR guidance on areas like talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
- Help identify team and employee development needs, suggest solutions, and support the implementation of appropriate initiatives.
- Assist with managing employee disciplinary issues and offer advice to business leaders on handling each case.
- Collaborate with HR teams in Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR operations, and other areas to implement solutions.
- Support the employee engagement agenda within your business unit(s).
- Help promote and maintain TikTok's organizational culture through planning and supporting cultural activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master in HR or a related discipline.
- Enthusiasm for HR-related work and a desire to grow oneself in HR practice as a long-term career plan.
- Logical thinking and excellent communication skills.
- Self-reflection ability, strong personal drive and insistence on high standards, plus innovative thinking and sound judgment.
- Other desirable traits include optimism in the face of challenges, down-to-earth and pragmatic, and a high-degree of pressure resistance.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or Industrial Relations is preferred. A related degree in Business Management or similar topics will be accepted, provided the applicant has completed HR prerequisites, with additional HR electives viewed as a plus.
