The enterprise ad sales team works with some of the largest organizations across all categories. They are responsible for enabling advertising on the platform and connecting users with brands.

About the Role:
The Head of Industry serves as the business leader responsible for driving revenue for the Entertainment Vertical advertisers on TikTok. The Head of Industry will develop the go-to-market strategy, prioritize key marketing narratives, and lead a team of sales leaders to deliver revenue targets. They will be responsible for identifying the needs of the business and allocating appropriate resources to drive sustained growth.

Responsibilities:
- Craft overall strategy to deliver on revenue targets and steer the vertical to increased growth potential

- Prioritize sales narratives that reflect the needs of the vertical
- Deep understanding of product to drive enhancements to unlock revenue
- Bring a consultative approach that will align around a Customer First methodology
- Provide thought-leadership and mentorship to your team on overall account planning
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of key vertical market trends and customer opportunities
- Develop and lead a national sales team of people managers and individual contributors

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in digital advertising, ad sales, performance or brand marketing
- 3+ years of managing individual contributors and people managers
- Willing to work in Los Angeles, CA with extensive travel across the country

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Entertainment Vertical marketing, sales strategies, product catalog, content management, and operations
- Experience managing people managers of varying experience
- Knowledge of agency ecosystem, digital and traditional
- Ability to foster C-Level executive relationships with a genuine interest in customers' success
- Ability to recruit and retain top talent
- A proven penchant for creative problem-solving
- Proven track record of high-level negotiation and exceeding sales targets

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $180000 - $250000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
