Team Introduction
The Creative Product and Operations, under the Global Monetization Product and Technology Team, are a critical means of accelerating the global sales of Tiktok's paid media offering by working with 3rd party partners/agencies/creators to produce, optimize and strategize content that make marketing on Tiktok easy and effective.
As the Finance and Operations Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all APAC financial and operational functions of the department, ensuring they are managed with both efficiency and precision. This role ensures effective financial management, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
The Finance and Operations Manager will manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and the development of financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability. Additionally, the role involves optimizing operational processes to enhance productivity and alignment with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong and continuous relationships with partners from APAC creative/creator agencies and creators, overseeing contracts, invoicing, and payments, while addressing any business or financial policy concerns.
- Negotiate and oversee contracts within our ecosystem, ensuring full compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Oversee payment processing and timely payment of invoices, working with internal teams to ensure proper approvals
- Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely responses
- Ensure that all operational activities are aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
- Oversee the billing process, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets
- Prepare regular financial reports for agencies and provide monthly reviews to internal teams
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with our internal Creative Operations Team to create, refine, and develop streamlined financial processes for all TikTok Creative Products
- Strong operational rigour ensuring finance team trackers and documents consistently updated and well-maintained.
- Monitor operational metrics and performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in financial management, with a focus on contract negotiations, payment processing, invoicing, and billing
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in financial data
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with peers and managers, both internally and externally across different countries
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with negotiating and dealing with agreements/contracts
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
