The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.

About the team
The Search Operation team focuses on providing operational support for TikTok's search business. Specifically, we are responsible for investigating TikTok's resources, understanding user demands, and optimizing search result quality.

Responsibilities

What will I be doing?
- Deeply participate in compliance work in each business line, formulate compliance work plans, help business lines to identify related risks, explore solutions with legal, policy, content operations and other teams, and ensure timely delivery.
- Formulate and execute compliance work plans, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of compliance initiatives.
- Handle complex projects and situations, ensuring all compliance requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
- Work with cross-functional departments to conduct thorough compliance assessments and reviews of business programs.
- Drive compliance transformation projects, ensuring changes are effectively integrated into business operations and delivered on time.
- Establish and manage compliance-related mechanisms, optimizing compliance assessment processes to ensure business solutions meet all regulatory requirements.
- Build and strengthen connections with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various departments.
- Collaborate with business teams to strengthen their compliance capabilities and ensure they adhere to established compliance standards.
- Develop and implement programs to systematically manage and improve compliance assessment processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above with at least 2 years of program/project management experience in high-tech business preferred
- Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Good cross-departmental communication skills, project management skills, and ability to coordinate multi-departments to address complex compliance issues.
- Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
- Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.

Preferred Qualifications
- Some knowledge of the internet industry
- Strong learning ability, self-driven mindset, sense of responsibility, problem-solving skills, and a certain degree of stress resistance
