About T&S
The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok is committed to ensuring that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
About the team
The Safety Product Operation (SPO) team is responsible for translating business demands into system and workflow solutions executed by operations teams, while constantly enhancing the tools, processes and metrics for sustainable operational excellence. We do this through business product intake, execution of safety strategies requiring operation work, designing and implementing systems, process and tooling solutions, and conducting comprehensive operations analysis and reporting.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.
What will I be doing?
As a Business Analyst, you are a member of the Analysis & Performance Team. Your responsibilities include setting operational metrics targets, optimizing methodologies, cascading targets, conducting achievement analysis, and implementing relevant experiments. These efforts aim to enhance the rationality, credibility, and visibility of the targets.
Responsibilities
1. Establish a target management system and a business analysis framework for content safety. Monitor the implementation process of business targets, keep track of their completion status, and conduct regular result reviews.
2. Create and continuously refine the methodology for target setting. For different types of metrics and business, regularly formulate corresponding targets and be responsible for cascading these targets.
3. Gain profound insights into the business. Actively diagnose and pinpoint issues hindering target achievement. Independently carry out in-depth analyses, propose valuable solutions and strategies, and drive their implementation within the business.
4. As a PMO, spearhead the execution of relatively complex projects. Proactively establish connections with various internal and external teams. Conduct regular special reviews and in-depth analyses.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Hold a bachelor's degree or higher, and have 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or the consulting sector.
2. Have a high level of data sensitivity, robust logical thinking, be self-driven and results-oriented. Be eager to learn and improve continuously, and be resilient under pressure.
3. Demonstrate excellent project management skills, strong execution capabilities, and effective communication and coordination skills. Be able to independently manage projects and drive cross-departmental initiatives.
4. Possess a holistic perspective and the ability to manage details meticulously. Exhibit a strong team spirit.
