The Lead Data Analytics Manager leads a team that performs complex analytics and statistical modeling on large data sets that identify current market sector trends and customer patterns. This job directs the examination and identification of data patterns and trends that help answer business questions and improve decision-making. This job is responsible for overseeing the work completed by junior team members as well as encouraging and driving their professional development.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Author training, presentations, and talking points to describe status and the value of LevFin data efforts.
Lead the buildout of business glossaries and data dictionaries for core data domains

Define data standards and business rules
Establish and lead data committees and or working groups to communicate information and gain business consensus and approvals
Monitors status of all data-related issues being addressed by working groups
Develop metrics and key performance indicators
Provide thought leadership to formulate strategic and tactical plans
Recommend process improvements or additive data controls with both technology and operational business partners
Oversee the implementation of new or enhanced document procedures
Manage communication relationships to ensure business stakeholder expectations are met
Administrative support including setting up meetings, creating agendas and providing minutes
Identify data issues utilizing quality reports to perform exception management analysis
Utilize an issues log to track and manage data exceptions across various data domains and data sets impacting RAE (proprietary Risk and Performance tool)
Oversee and assign tasks and project deliverables to members of team

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years total experience within the asset management industry, preferably within data management and or operational roles
- Experience with Portfolio Accounting, Pricing Master, Order Management, Trade Processing, and Bank Loan Systems: (Geneva, Paladyne, Bloomberg AIM, Wall Street Office)
- Experience in developing and documenting governance and control frameworks including documenting policies, processes controls, workflows, operating procedures and service level agreements
- Experience with managing multi-stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organization
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of performance measurement and portfolio analytics
- Thorough understanding of leveraged loan and CLO operations
- Confident at managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to creatively solve problems quickly and adapt to new situations and or changes in focus/priorities
- Strong understanding of operational risks and controls
- Ability to translate technical terms into clear customer-oriented language, and communicate with both end-users and technology team members at all levels of the organization
- Sufficient level of technical background (system architecture and application frameworks) to provide highly-credible leadership to project teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Must operate independently, use of critical thinking skills and good judgment
- Strong working knowledge of SQL
- Data Warehouse experience
- Management or supervisory experience
Potential Salary: $131,600.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
