Can you navigate appropriate placement in the MQ? Can you skate towards the puck and partner with Product Management to understand and advocate our next needed set of products, pricing and promotions? Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Be responsible for the production of all product marketing output including engaging and persuasive content, web site copy, sales decks, product demos, sales tools, and marketing collateral.
  • Partner with our VP Demand Gen to ensure top-of-funnel content is driving high quality leads
  • Develop product launch plans, positioning, and compelling value propositions to effectively drive the marketing and sales of company's products
  • Contribute thought leadership related to core products and market. Develop and deliver compelling presentations at vertical industry tradeshows, seminars, and conferences and effectively represent the product and corporate brand and position as a leader in the market
  • Position Alteryx as THE leading Data Analytics Platform. Provide support and leadership for the sales organization through direct sales interactions with customers and partner organizations
  • Exhibit a deep knowledge of the target markets, products, competitors, and industry trends and effectively communicate this information internally (to other functional company areas) and externally (to customers, partners, industry analysts, and other interested parties). Ability to influence the influencers (i.e. Gartner, Forrester etc.)
  • Deliver compelling marketing communications output including product related content and social media output
  • Directly contribute to the continuing education and training of the sales force through the development and execution of various field training programs.
  • Drive market and customer insight that contributes to the production of Product Requirements Documentation (PRDs) to effectively communicate high-level product requirements and work collaboratively with Product Management to bring competitive products and compelling product features to market in order to achieve maximum revenue benefit
  • Lead a team of Product Marketers and Technology Partner Marketers, mentoring and empowering them to deliver the best work of their careers.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA or BS degree and an MBA, all from top schools.
  • 15+ years of relevant B2B technology sales engineering, product management and/or product marketing experience is required.
  • Past experience as a director or VP of product marketing at leading cloud computing or SaaS companies, focused on marketing to both line of business and IT, is required
  • Strong product marketing and communication (written and oral) skills are required.
  • Ability to rapidly develop compelling presentations and industry-targeted marketing materials, including vertical solution documentation, promotional communications
  • Skill in direct customer-facing sales engagements, including executive-level interactions.
  • Strong business planning and project management skills
  • Appreciation of technologies on which solutions in the market are based

Performance Indicators:

  • Deliver against company revenue target
  • Deliver against scheduled product roadmap marketing deliverables
  • Deliver against agreed short term objectives
  • Deliver against new customer land and existing customer expands targets
