Overview of the Role

The role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in Marketing.

Based in Nuveen’s London office, the Marketing Services Executive is a member of the Product Marketing team, which develops and executes comprehensive marketing strategies supporting investment and capital raising efforts across private markets with a focus on real estate and alternatives more broadly. The Marketing Services Executive will be supporting the product marketing function in the creation, automation and ongoing maintenance of marketing materials, including product and asset class specific, and firm level presentations, factsheets, acquisition flyers, webpages, reports and other materials as required. The candidate will work closely with the U.K., Germany, Asia Pacific and U.S.-based marketing teams, marketing compliance, product specialists, investment teams and other stakeholders within the firm.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates, automates and maintains marketing collateral as required, ensuring materials are aligned with the business’ strategy and objectives across all EMEA and Asia Pacific offices.

  • Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Compliance to review and obtain approvals of referenced materials.

  • Ensure signed off materials are readily available and accessible for use by relevant teams.

  • Works closely with U.S. marketing services team to ensure alignment of marketing outputs.

  • Specific focus around firm level, real estate and alternatives marketing collateral.

  • Develop relationships with individuals at all levels within the firm in order to gain a strong understanding of the organisation and the ability to develop specialised content.

  • Serves as the primary contact with our IT and Data partners to facilitate the receipt and use of data.

  • If required, update/maintain qualitative and quantitative information in databases and assist with survey submissions.

  • Maintenance and creation of content for product and strategy webpages and asset pages

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related functions and ad-hoc projects as required.

Required Skills:

  • Very strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent problem recognition and resolution skills

  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet overlapping deadlines as they arise

Preferred Skills:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Knowledge of any of the following (or related marketing platforms): Percolate, Seismic or Thirdlight is helpful

  • Cross border and multi-lingual experience/skills

  • Interest in the Financial Services industry

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Degree educated

  • Qualification in Marketing preferred

  • Experience working across the commercial real estate and/or financial services industries

  • Enthusiastic individual, with a collegiate approach, able to work in a culturally diverse organisation and at different levels of the business

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to express complex issues succinctly and clearly to business partners

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Able to think independently and challenge in an appropriate manner

  • Experience of working on a broad range of matters with a flexible attitude

  • Comfortable operating in/with a multi-location and multi-national extended team

  • Able to operate under time pressure

  • Ability to multi-task
