AVP, Investment Oversight Financial Editor & Project Manager
Nuveen is seeking a Financial Editor & Project Manager to join the Investment Oversight Team reporting to the Vice President, Business Process Team Leader.
The Financial Editor & Project Manager, as a member of the Investment Oversight Team, will work to support the timely creation and delivery of high quality team deliverables, focusing on quality control. The role involves diverse activities including partnering with subject matter experts on the team to structure clear and concise written materials for Boards and senior management, proofreading deliverables, managing team projects and creating and maintaining efficient processes. The role is part of a team with highly visible activities related to investment team oversight and due diligence with active contributions to new product and product management projects.

Investment Oversight supports Nuveen, the various Fund Boards and our clients’ objectives in an ethical, highly professional and independent manner. The Team develops a deep knowledge of affiliated and non-affiliated investment teams in order to help ensure investment integrity across Nuveen’s product offerings. Key Responsibilities and Duties
Partner with Investment Oversight team members to structure and edit written materials for Boards, senior management and internal committees.
Manage projects and maintain processes related to team deliverables.
Work closely with internal business partners to ensure that materials are completed in a timely manner.
Manage agenda, materials, reporting, announcements and minutes for an internal committee.

3 years of experience in corporate communications functions or journalism
Preferred Experience
5+ years of experience in corporate communications functions or journalism
Bachelor’s degree
Outstanding editing and writing skills with high attention to detail; ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messaging and write in a direct, engaging tone
Ability to lead projects and work effectively with all partners individually and as part of a team
Manage several projects and processes simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines
Naturally curious, intellectually flexible and proactive in expressing ideas
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Understanding of the asset management industry and investment products is a plus
Potential Salary: $116,300.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
