Database Admin
The Data Administration job participates in the development, implementation, and administration of multiple databases to enhance the organization's business efficiency. Working under close supervision, this job responds to database problems and performs regular maintenance and troubleshooting in a timely manner.
This job also protects the organization's database to maintain integrity, and supports the maintenance of database systems including back-up, performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure data is stored securely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Participates in the design and implementation of various databases and assists in systems capacity planning.
- Assists maintaining database systems and troubleshoots problems that may arise in a timely manner.
