Job Summary:

The PP&B Workforce Analytics team is looking for a member with strong analytical, technical, and consultative skills. The team is tasked with
  • Providing data, analysis and strategic consultations to help senior leaders make workforce-related decisions.
  • Conducting deep dive analysis to inform DEI strategies, priorities and solutions
  • Monitor talent metrics and employee sentiment to identify irregular trends and provide actionable insights to talent leaders and business leaders.
Projects and analyses include - talent metrics, employee sentiment and DEI analysis; analyzing financial impact of talent decisions; and SBU specific ad-hoc analysis

Data & Analysis:
  • Queries data to conduct ad hoc analyses of talent & sentiment metrics and analyzes results to quantify the competitive performance of the business.
  • Identifies trends and issues following pre-defined business processes. Provides technical and analytical assessment of issues facing the business and presents findings to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct moderate to high complexity analysis under general direction from a particular business unit/function.
Project Management:
  • Serves as point person for moderate complexity projects.
  • Serves as team member on high complexity projects and may lead own workstream.
Mentorship:
  • Actively shares job knowledge with less experience analysts.
  • May be assigned to mentor new hire, depending on experience.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 or more years of experience, or equivalent, is required. Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative field are preferred field of experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, data visualization, etc.), SQL and PowerPoint.
  • demonstrated success leveraging data analytics and visualization to build a compelling story
  • ability to deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations
  • Strong planning, project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Note: You will be required to go into the office twice a week if you reside within 50 miles of radius of our Liberty Mutual Offices. Please note this policy is subject to change.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-4 years of experience, or Master's Degree with no professional experience, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (SAS, Emblem).
  • Must have good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data sources, tools and common statistical principals.
  • Understanding of intricacies of business supported is helpful.
  • Understands how actions tie to systems capabilities and flow through to our financials/business drivers.
  • Ability to learn how to build simple tools and queries for others to use.
