About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to lead technical initiatives, mentor teammates, and help drive engineering excellence across our team. You'll work autonomously and collaboratively to design scalable solutions, improve our development practices, and contribute to the overall success of our product and engineering teams.

This role requires deep technical knowledge, leadership maturity, and a strong sense of ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Acts as a go-to expert in several areas of the codebase with a broad, in-depth skillset
- Writes clear, maintainable code with automated testing, alerting, and monitoring
- Participates in and contributes to all Agile ceremonies
- Participates in and leads solution design reviews, asking thoughtful questions and raising relevant concerns
- Improves the team's testing frameworks and strategy
- Develop and set standards for development of front end react applications
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements
- Advocates for and implements unit and integration test improvements
- Identifies root causes of production issues, contributes to risk assessments, and helps prevent recurrence
- Contributes to solution design to ensure operational costs are managed appropriately
- Looks for opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve development processes
- Works independently and ensures delivery of team goals
- Contributes to a DevOps team responsible for on-call support as part of a rotating schedule.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years experience in software development building highly-scalable customer facing applications.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience working with HTML, CSS , and JavaScript in the React framework.
- Experience with Jest and React Testing Library for component and unit testing
- Familiarity with Playwright for end-to-end testing and automation.
- Ability to lead by example and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contributions to open-source projects or internal engineering initiatives
- Knowledge of AWS, Video Technologies, Tailwind.
