This position offers an excellent place to learn from industry leaders and grow in your career! In this role, you will work on projects that drive strategic business decisions and support growth at HomeGoods and the recently launched Homesense chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly reporting with excellent attention to detail
  • Analyze Gross Margin and Inventory components to provide guidance on business performance and financial plans
  • Develop complex financial models and reports to support growth and profitability strategy
  • Provide accurate and timely ad-hoc analysis to address existing and new business need
  • Deliver strategy and recommendations on various initiatives across all levels of Management
  • Present on data-driven analyses related to inventory, gross margin, and other conceptual topics
  • Partner with operational specialists and form relationships within the business

Potential Projects:

  • Financial Performance - provide detailed financial analysis for special projects
  • Merchandising Initiatives - evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising initiatives and provide recommendations to management
  • Inventory Management - assess store and DC inventory levels for optimal performance
  • Supply Chain Efficiency - assist in identifying cost saving strategies across the supply chain
  • Presentations - report on critical performance metrics and special projects
  • Financial Plans - assist in developing long-range plans including 1, 3 and 10-year financial plans

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting preferred
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; experience reporting on large amounts of data
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to acquire information and devise business solutions
  • Regular presentation to Senior Executives on forecast and operational strategies
  • Able to deliver results concisely and effectively to management
  • Ability to provide strategic recommendations to the business
  • High level of curiosity to explore, learn and understand business information
  • Strong sense of urgency around delivery of reports and project deadlines and exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize individual workload and collaborate in team environment
  • Strong technical skills: proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required (i.e. pivot tables, power pivot, function logic and lookup/reference formulas and charts)

This position has a starting salary range of $80,500 to $102,700 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
