What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • This position is accountable for developing and implementing an integrated multi-year national strategy and to research and develop long term plans for integrated supply chain modernization of business systems including hardware/software initiatives to meet business objectives.
  • Develops, plans and leads the strategic vision for the design and implementation of medium and large-scale integrated Supply Chain technology project initiatives spanning multiple years in support of department and corporate objectives
  • Establishes annual and long term (12 to 18 months) plans for Supply Chain technology portfolio and operational improvements, including the presentation of plans, strategic direction, and escalation of issues and risks to Senior Leadership
  • Collaborates with Global business partners to identify opportunities to design and develop solutions to enable visibility, productivity and engagement across department; arranges for resources to allocate to projects with Leadership and coordinate funding as needed
  • Accountable for identifying roadblocks and issues and partnering with key stakeholders to develop solutions and mitigate risks to ensure training and Associate experience goals are met
  • Manages budgets/forecasts for integrated Supply Chain business systems initiatives / programs
  • Provides change management leadership related technology improvement and changes, ensuring the appropriate engagement of teams to support implementation of changes
  • Interprets key Supply Chain reports and provides insights, findings and opportunities to Supply Chain leaders.
  • Publishes weekly SC KPI's and review insights with Supply Chain stakeholders.
  • Provides leadership, talent development, coaching to team members to develop future managers and build the pipeline within the function, to build a high performing team.

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Retail Operations, IT, Supply Chain preferred; with progressive people management / leadership in multi-function business unit
  • Post-secondary degree in related field, e.g. Business Management, Data Science, Computer Science, considered an asset
  • Expertise / experience with retail technology delivery programs, enterprise-wide system implementations
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with senior management and positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the Company
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup; people management skills including coaching, providing advice and guidance to Managers to resolve issues/problems; evaluating performance and providing feedback to team members; participate in the recruitment, selection and orientation of staff
  • Ability to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners, influence team members and help prioritize activities and resources to meet the organization's needs; build rapport and credibility to be a trusted advisor
  • Demonstrated organizational development skills including change management, time management; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, multi-task and sometimes under time pressure
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions, revise business strategies to support the vision of the organization
  • Solid project management skills including structured project methodologies (i.e. determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.); utilizing multiple sources of information to develop well-structured business recommendations preparing and maintaining detailed development plans for projects; determining project specifications; understanding and applying principles of project control; and knowledge of and ability to use project reporting systems

Salary Range: $106,590 - $161,364 /year

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
