What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • Manage fixture order fulfillment for development projects, acting as a key liaison between vendors, field contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient determination, ordering, delivery, and installation of store fixtures for new, relocation, expansion, remodel, rollout, regional capital, and operational store projects.
  • Evaluates fixture requirements based on architectural blueprints and consultations with Designers, ensuring all needs are captured (e.g., appropriate prototype selection, features, dimensions, functionality) and manages the store fixture order fulfillment process.
  • Coordinates with general contractors, fixture contractors, Project Managers, Store Operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure project needs are met by assessing site conditions and preparing contingency plans, updating order requirements with new information.
  • Oversees projects for new stores and renovation timelines as set by Construction, ensuring any potential delays or risk factors affecting fixture order lead-times are promptly adjusted and communicated efficiently to the relevant vendors and internal stakeholders. Evaluates and suggests adjustments to fixture installation schedules based on changes in the overall construction timeline.
  • Maintains the integrity of the fixture automation software program to keep the system database accurate and efficient. Collaborates with the Store Design Department to ensure accurate master fixture kit translation of AutoCAD and Fixture Automation Interface software programs to support accurate PO generation.

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Procurement or Architectural Technology preferred
  • 3 to 5 years purchasing experience, preferable in a store fixture environment
  • Purchasing/ project management experience, with strong organizational skills to manage project and production milestones and deliverables, utilizing knowledge of supply chain, materials estimating
  • Demonstrated understanding of fixtures and purchasing with ability to identify gaps and opportunities; ability to read and interpret store fixture plans, blueprints and or construction plans
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identifying problems and analyze possible solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, time manage and multi-task with limited supervision to support projects and initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including developing and building relationships with internal and external partners / team members
  • Proficient ability in MS Office applications and experience within the Oracle purchasing platform is preferred

$58,910 - $82,472

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
