What You'll be Doing

  • Reporting into the Manager of Facilities Operations, you will be responsible for the maintenance and management of our own in-house store facilities management system, Service Channel.
  • Update and maintain the back end of Service Channel, implementing any process improvements and answering user queries on the system.
  • Keep the Service Channel updated with new store openings and closures.
  • Support in the delivery and development of the Service Channel through our TJX road map for the system
  • You will business partner with Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Central Operations, Finance and the wider Facilities and Estate teams to implement new features on the Service Channel and support in raising PO's.
  • You will develop and run reports to highlight trends in issues across areas such as store cleaning and support in the teams decision-making process.
  • You will support the Manager of Facilities Operations in the budget building process and gathering costs from a wide supplier base for cleaning suppliers for UK and Ireland.
  • You will take ownership over the budget and order process of facilities management consumables all stores across UK and Ireland.
  • Onboarding new suppliers, chasing and processing documentation.
  • Booking travel for wider UK & Ireland facilities team.
  • Support in planning and coordinating teams' meetings.
  • Preparation of Real Estate Committee pack for the Estates team.
  • Take on and support in ad-hoc projects as and when requested.

What You'll bring to the Table:

  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of priorities in a fast paced and changeable environment.
  • Great time management, the ability to manage multiple tasks & projects.
  • Innovative thinking to resolve operational problems efficiently.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Managing and tracking facility-related budgets.
  • Forecasting operational costs
  • Identifying small issues before they become larger problems.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, attention to detail and an ability to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are key, as are strong interpersonal skills, where you can build relationships with people on all levels.
  • Systems skills (Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel).
  • Experience in computer coding would be beneficial but not essential.
