What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • Ensure outstanding quality, value and seasonality of merchandise received at the DC and facilitate efficient production flow in the DC.
  • Act as an important liaison between Distribution Services and the Home Office Merchandising team in representing the interests of Merchandising and Planning & Allocation departments
  • Carefully inspect merchandise for all legal labelling requirements (i.e. CSA, Bilingual, fabric content, Country of origin etc.)
  • Proactively address vendor compliance issues and opportunities; Identify merchandise discrepancies and partner with planning to assign appropriate descriptions and detail
  • Facilitate efficient processing and facility production flow by maintaining effective communication with Merchandise Assistants, Buying/Planning departments, and Distribution Services Management
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with hourly Associates, leadership teams and Planning and Allocation departments

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • College degree in Business Administration or Fashion Merchandising is preferred. Minimum high school education required
  • Minimum two years experience in Distribution or retail merchandising
  • Analytical approach with the ability to apply knowledge of Distribution Services processes, merchandise, and systems
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet timelines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills; including ability to optimally and efficiently respond to inquiries and identify stated and unstated customer needs

Salary Range: $42,330 - $59,160

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
