What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key responsibilities of the role:

  • Responsible for leading and coordinating the Data Centre staff, and ensuring execution of all activities associated with production flow to achieve production plans, as well as all required reporting. This position is also responsible for monitoring focus departments, complex departments and priority lists to meet weekly production plans.
  • Provides Data Center Staff with support, training, guidance, coaching, and direction with respect to daily functions, tasks and assignments.
  • Manages, collects, filters and processes various management reports (e.g. Daily Stats and MCS).
  • Partners and communicates with Planning Department re: escalation of old date and distro information.
  • Participates in assisting Data Centre Associates and Data Clerks in the performance of daily activities within the Data Centre (i.e. hands on back up support for all Data Centre functions)
  • Monitors and maintains the steady flow of tickets to all processing areas, to ensure Data Centre Associate productivity.
  • Oversees all data entry activities to ensure daily production is met.
  • Supports all testing and implementation of various WMI system enhancements and roll outs.

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, you'll have:

  • Education: OSSD Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Data Centre and Receiving operations within Distribution services.
  • Ability to be flexible with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets (i.e. Windows, MS Office), keyboarding, word processing, e-mail, Mainframe application i.e. IMSP and SCAN.
  • Ability to develop effective collaborative working relationships with Distribution Services, Management, Associates and external contacts.
  • Customer service skills; including effectively and efficiently responding to inquiries and identifying stated and unstated customer needs.
  • Ability to provide direction to ensure delivery of set expectations and targets are achieved.

Salary Range: $$42,330 - $59,160 /year

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
