Job Description

Main Responsibilities: LATAM

Ensure Regulatory Compliance:

- Monitor treasury operations to ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, such as Central Bank standards, financial market regulations, and compliance guidelines, including the Treasury Signature Matrix (TSM).

Management of Internal Policies:

- Develop and review treasury policies and procedures, ensuring they are updated in line with compliance standards and market best practices.

Risk Management:

- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to liquidity, credit, market, and treasury operations.

- Implement internal controls to avoid compliance risks.
- Ensure access, limits, and authorizations in banks, adhering to power of attorney requirements.

Audits and Reporting:

- Respond to internal audit requests, supporting and ensuring all provided information is accurate.
- Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits related to treasury activities.
- Maintain detailed records and generate reports on compliance and risks, reporting to senior management or the board.

Operational Support:

- Collaborate with finance and treasury teams to ensure that transactions, such as cash management, investments, and debt/loan/petty cash operations, align with internal policies.

Implementation of Compliance Solutions:

- Assist in implementing systems and tools to ensure adherence to standards, automating processes and improving efficiency.

Training and Education:

- Develop and deliver training for internal teams on compliance policies and risks operations.

Monitoring Regulatory Changes:

- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments in the company's processes and policies.

Qualifications:

Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish is necessary due to LATAM operations.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, or related fields.
- Experience: Previous experience in compliance, treasury, or risk management within a corporate or financial services environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work in a team.
