Job Description

Responsibilities:

Application Management: Lead all aspects of and sustain ERP applications to ensure operational support.

User Management: Add and lead users and assign roles within applications.

Error Resolution: Diagnose and resolve application errors and issues.

System Administration: Lead server operating systems (Windows, Linux) and perform updates, patches, and upgrades.

Collaboration: Coordinate with IT teams, infrastructure, and business analysts to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Automation: Create and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and processes using Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.

Documentation: Keep accurate and current documentation of applications and integration systems.

Tool Proficiency: Use tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and MS Power BI.

Required Skills:

ERP Application Administration: Proven ability with ERP applications such as Oracle JD Edwards, Fusion Cloud ERP, Control M, or QAD Precision.

Cloud Fundamentals: Familiarity with cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, or Azure.

Scripting: Proficiency in developing scripts using Python, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell.

Tool Proficiency: Practical knowledge of JIRA and ServiceNow.

AI/ML Understanding: Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 1. Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Control M software across multiple environments, ensuring compatibility and integration with existing systems.

Job Scheduling: Collaborate with various partners to define, schedule, and implement batch jobs and workflows within Control M, ensuring efficient and reliable execution of critical business processes.

Monitoring and Fix: Monitor Control M jobs and workflows, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or errors. Fix and resolve technical problems related to job scheduling, dependencies, and system performance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3+ years demonstrable experience as an Applications Administrator.

- Strong knowledge of job scheduling software and its functionalities.

- Experience with job scheduling and workflow management in a complex enterprise environment.

- Excellent fix and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.

- Solid understanding of scripting languages, such as Shell scripting, Perl, and or PowerShell.

- Familiarity with ITIL standard methodologies and organizational change processes.

- Good communication and social skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.

- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
