We are HIRING at our NEW distribution center in Greencastle PA. This new innovative facility will provide additional distribution capacity for finished goods on the East Coast and help build a seamless supply chain to improve our customer experience.

  • Provide immediate supervision to assigned staff; including personnel recruitment, regular performance evaluation and monitoring for development purposes, as well as ensuring appropriate resources are available and the effective use thereof. Provide strong leadership direction and talent development working within a very diverse workforce. Coach and mentor staff to elevate overall performance and achieve Company objectives.
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and positive environment to develop growth across their team. Ensure employees are in compliance with Safety and Quality regulations and procedures
  • Demonstrate and promote the company vision, 4i Values, Role Model Leadership (RML), and Practical Process Improvements (PPI)!
  • Ensure smooth flow of materials and/or finished goods in and out of the assigned Facility through own actions and those of assigned staff!
  • Ensure materials are available to meet schedules and that the quality of materials are verified and secured.
  • Responsible for the receipt of materials and/or finished goods on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide database tracking and operational status reports.
  • Coordinate the storage and delivery of materials according to established procedures and customer requirements. Work with internal and external customers to identify and plan for unique storage and order fulfillment requirements.
  • Supervise the shipment of material and/or finished goods in a timely manner according to customer requirements. Plans and coordinates space, materials, and people to meet operational needs. Coordinate the development and preparation of reports and others communication material to keep customers advised of the status of shipments, and measure shipping volumes, cost and efficiency.
  • Supervise the maintenance and integrity of databases and other records confirming the status of materials received.
  • Collaborates with all levels of company employees and external vendors.
  • Maintains safety standards and training in the department; ensures that the building is maintained in a clean and safe manner. Proactively leading and providing coaching to ensure the safety of the employees.
  • Supervise implementation of PPI tools to drive group efficiency.
  • Lead and/or participate in special projects requiring research and/or coordination of special services related to the receiving, shipping, and inventory control of goods.
  • Recommends and develops ideas for improvement in operating methods and procedures, and to resolve problems when these arise.
  • Advanced knowledge in ERP systems.

How will you get here?

Education:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • 5 years + demonstrated ability within field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to identify problems and resolves them.
  • Effective leadership skills ability to manage a team to accomplish an assigned tasks or daily duties.
  • Ability to guide and coach associates to further develop their skills.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Bachelor's in relevant field or related field with proven track record within field.
  • Supervising experience preferred but not required.
  • Interact with clients, resolve project critical issues, and support team with client interactions.

Work Conditions

Perform work of a highly repetitive nature.

  • Will walk, stand, reach, climb ladders and lift up to 40lbs on a continuous basis.
  • May occasionally sit, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • May handle "packaged" hazardous materials.
  • Due to business needs, must be flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.
  • Work in a warehouse environment under various temperatures including room temperature (59-86 degrees F), cold-room (36-46 degrees F), and/or freezer-room (minus 4 - 23 degrees F).
  • The physical demands described above are representative of those which are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
