Work Shift:

Monday - Friday

7:00 am to 3:30 pm

How will you make an impact:

As a Sr. QC Technician, you will apply standard operating procedures (SOP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) to conduct testing on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods. Your responsibilities will include generating data, verifying product stability, analyzing and summarizing data, and performing other supporting activities.

What will you do:

  • Ensure the completion and accuracy of quality control records related to products and receipts.
  • Maintain receipt logs, file quality records generated during receipt, and carry out the company's documentation policy for record retention.
  • Conduct routine quality inspection functions, including visual and documentation inspections.
  • Perform routine measurements and assessments of received materials.
  • Conduct incoming product evaluation tests and special test requests to assist product technical teams with process improvements and corrective and preventative actions.
  • Support the database of critical vendor performance measures for trend analysis.
  • Assist in the testing and disposition of product returns.
  • Generate nonconformance reports for incoming product failures.
  • Participate in team meetings to address and troubleshoot incoming product performance and process issues.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and investigations of Out of Specification results and Quarantine mitigation.
  • Support other quality control department functions as needed.
  • Collaborate with post-market surveillance teams and customer support teams.

How will you get here:

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a biological or related science is required from an accredited college or university.
  • 1 year of laboratory experience or proven experience.
  • High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of experience will be considered.

Experience:

  • MS Office digital literacy required for record and analysis reporting - i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of Basic Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and GMP requirement.
  • Self-motivated individual.
  • Good time management

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.82-$27.00.
