Position Summary:
Our team is responsible for ensuring the completion of qualification/validation protocols, batch release and stability testing. We are a quickly expanding Brisbane based site with ever growing opportunities. We believe our workforce are our greatest asset, and are passionate about nurturing and developing future talent!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sampling of raw materials in a controlled environment according to established guidelines.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to execute test records (pH, conductivity, OSMO, etc.).
- Assess and analyze test results against specifications and perform accurate execution of test records.
- Conduct peer reviews of analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Assist the QC Physio-Chemistry Team Leader in reviewing and approving test records, as necessary.
- Report non-conformances and out-of-specification/unexpected results (OOS/UR) to the Team Leader, Supervisor, and Manager.
- Understand and apply Quality Control practices across the site's manufacturing services.
- Support risk assessment activities, including the application of tools like FMEA and fishbone diagrams.
- Assist in the practical application of Quality Systems (e.g., Change Control, Deviations, CAPA, OOS, OOT, Document Management).
- Participate in site process improvement projects and other duties as directed by the Team Leader or Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field, with technical competency in laboratory analysis.
- Familiarity with cGMP and laboratory analyses, efficient sample workflows, in-process controls, and analytical testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment. Leadership experience is a plus.
