Position Summary:
Are you a problem solver who loves a challenge and wants to help guide our pricing strategies? The Sr Pricing Analyst in EMEA will partner with the Sr Pricing Manager and Commercial VPs & Directors to support revenue and operating income goals thru price attainment within Thermo Fisher Scientific. Establish price standards, strategies, and performance. Build interpersonal capabilities and communicates key pricing insights and recommendations to Senior Leadership and other relevant business partners. You will have the opportunity to build your network across the organisation with the various projects you will support and lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Commercial teams across 6 Divisions with pricing guidance and pricing tool support, supporting a business driving $4.2BN
  • Lead Approval Matrix and deal workflow, liaising with various partners (LDA Process), avg. 5 per week
  • Support Web enablement and agreement alignment for colleagues in an additional 3 divisions
  • Retrieve, consolidate, analyse and summarize data from our 5 ERPs and make appropriate business recommendations.
  • Drive price discipline and promote price/value opportunities, driving price target of $40M+
  • Validate and sign-off on data integrity for 300K Products
  • Drive the renewal of annual customer agreements multiple times a year with combined revenue stream of $1.9BN, leading all aspects of implementation, comms and training
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis for various internal customers.
  • Guide team on optimised customer pricing
  • Lead projects to support local/corporate initiatives, having full autonomy over project coordination
  • Develop pricing models and analysis to support critical initiatives
  • Liaise with global/regional partners across the organization, using pricing knowledge to positively influence key decisions
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly business review package
  • Train/present to sales team new pricing tools/initiatives/strategies.
  • Produce management reports to highlight pricing opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes, tools & procedures to break down barriers to execution for the commercial organisation

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Mathematics/IT/Comp Science or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial
  • Good presentation skills
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities
  • Must be able to interface effectively with internal customers from all levels of the organisation
  • Good written and oral communication, as well as influencing skills is required
  • Demonstrated technical ability, particularly with excel spreadsheet applications
  • Good organisational skills are necessary, as is the ability to use own initiative and collaborate well within a team
