Senior Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Address emergency maintenance issues throughout all work stream operations to ensure scheduled daily production levels are achieved.
  • Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks and general repair work orders on time.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems as required.
  • Fabricate minor replacement/repair parts as needed within the maintenance machining/welding shop.
  • Analyze and correct problems encountered during maintenance work to ensure work is performed according to SOP's.
  • Communicate daily with Maintenance Team Lead regarding shift-to-shift transfer information and any significant information.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and engineering to determine equipment condition and provide recommendations for improved reliability.
  • Work with engineering department to develop capital equipment needs and support new equipment installations.
  • Install and calibrate temperature controllers/recorders.
  • Report any actual or potential safety hazards to management.

Requirements:

  • Educational requirements: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, required.
  • 3+ years of applicable work experience.
  • Experience with automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems, industrial automation, and controls technology.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Process automation control troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficiency in electrical, electronics, and controls technologies.
  • Powered industrial equipment operation training.
  • Training and experience with safety programs such as lockout/tagout, hot work, confined space, and elevated work.
  • Strong computer skills to use Microsoft Office, corporate applications, and maintenance work order software system.
