Position Location: Home-based in any Scandinavian country

Position Summary:

As part of the Bioproduction Group (BPG) of Thermo Fisher Scientific, we enable our customers to make the world healthier by providing innovative solutions to develop and manufacture biologics, vaccines, cell & gene therapies, and other bio-pharmaceuticals. The Single-Use Technologies Division's (SUD) product portfolio consists of bioprocessing equipment, flexible solutions and rigid solutions.

We Sr SUD TSS have ownership and accountability over ensuring balanced sales growth over SUD in our given territory.

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a new phenomenal team member to:

  • Own and drive Bioprocessing Equipment and Automation sales, displaying/developing a high degree of technical consultative selling in bioprocess controlling, in relation with the support teams and SMEs. Large CAPEX deal lovers welcome!
  • Ensure sales growth across the entire SUD portfolio, through the driven and steady generation and progress of new business opportunities, together with the account management colleagues and Field Application Specialists.
  • Drive effective and positive relationships with key non-customer third parties influencing the territory, such as Architecture & Engineering firms as well as Sales Channels and technical associations.
  • Own SUD product strategy in Scandinavia

As custodian of SUD growth in the territory, the Senior Technical Sales Specialist will also take any further action that drives fast and balanced sales development. Collaboratively with the other field colleagues, these could include technical presentations, local market analysis, win/loss analysis, local events' promotion, new product launch activities, using other support functions from Thermo Fisher Scientific where applicable.

Required Knowledge:

  • Home-based work from anywhere in Scandinavia, located conveniently to ensure an excellent work/life balance with 50% travel across the region.
  • University degree related to life sciences and/or related to process controlling or automation.
  • Prior significant and successful experience selling into the biopharmaceutical market and/or using bioreactors and/or providing application support on bioprocessing technologies.
  • Remarkable team working and influencing skills to make valuable contributions in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge in Delta V, other DCS or PLC systems and/or prior experience selling CAPEX will be preferred.
