A Day in the Life:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Align engineering efforts with business goals and implement competency management strategies.
  • Lead competence management, conduct gap analysis, and build strategies to address identified gaps.
  • Lead team competency development, including setting goals, conducting performance evaluations, recruiting new talent, and organizing training programs.
  • Key Partnership with Product Development:
  • Collaborate closely with other Validation and Software Team leaders to ensure alignment and teamwork on project delivery.
  • Oversee the delivery of products within budget, on schedule, and meeting quality guidelines.
  • Provide effort estimations and allocate team members to support project needs.
  • Ensure the quality of our products.
  • Team Management:
  • Manage multiple teams involved in the design and integration of hardware components, including both XDB and TEM products.
  • Be responsible for hiring, staffing, and maintaining a diverse and effective workforce.
  • Guide career development, planning, and performance of the team.
  • Develop teams across multiple sites and cultures, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Implement dynamic resource balancing to optimize team performance and project delivery.

Keys to Success:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 10 years of work experience, including management experience, in sophisticated technology product development.
  • Proven experience running large-scale projects and leading engineering teams.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision making.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to achieve significant business objectives.
  • High learning agility and understanding of sophisticated business and products.
  • Role model with strong strategic, planning, and organizational skills.
