Environmental Conditions
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degrees, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

As our Sr Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, you'll be instrumental in driving efficient packaging processes through outstanding troubleshooting, equipment solving, and the successful integration of automation equipment. You will work closely with different teams to define and achieve our ambitious goals.

What will you do?

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve packaging processes.
  • Fix equipment issues and source automation solutions.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to staff.
  • Communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional groups to promote our company's vision and values.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive engineering projects to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Packaging, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years in food or pharmaceutical packaging or six years in industrial engineering.
  • At least three years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams and projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and PPI.
  • Strong business insight and understanding of financial principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and expertise with spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand continuously (95%-100%).
  • Frequent walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional sitting and squatting.
  • Frequent bending and reaching above shoulder level.
  • Repetitive actions with both hands and feet.
  • Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Must work in varying environmental conditions and wear personal protective equipment.
