Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop teams performing the production process for new or existing assay products and technologies.
  • Determine operational strategies and lead the development of world-class processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement operational plans and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of operations professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of projects.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed operational targets.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, promoting an environment where ideas are shared and creativity is valued.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with team members within the organization to ensure coordination and enhance operational performance.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in the industry and continually strive to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Strictly adhere to all regulatory compliance requirements and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in in production management, operations management, or STEM field, or equivalent experience.
  • A track record of over 8 years in a managerial role, coordinating manufacturing teams with a scientific approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and foster growth in teams by effectively managing and developing employees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to determine root causes and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work setting with strict timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully implement process improvements and drive operational excellence initiatives.
