Job Summary:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a motivated and proactive Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our team. The KAM will have a vital role in encouraging a collaborative approach to the pharmaceutical market, improving Thermo Fisher Scientific solutions, and implementing new business strategies. The ideal candidate will monitor new projects and opportunities, assess industry and market trends, and improve our biopharma network.

1. Develop and implement strategies to integrate and promote Thermo Fisher Scientific's diverse offerings across various divisions to the pharmaceutical market.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive and unified market approaches.

1. Foster End-to-End Thermo Fisher Scientific Solutions:

Advocate for and facilitate the adoption of Thermo Fisher Scientific's comprehensive solutions within client organizations.

1. Ensure clients understand the value and benefits of coordinated solutions spanning the entire product lifecycle.

Implement New Business Strategies:

1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biopharma sectors.

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and achieve sales targets.

1. Track New Projects and Opportunities:

Monitor and handle a pipeline of projects and opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement.

1. Apply CRM tools to track progress and maintain accurate records of client interactions and project statuses.

Evaluate Industry and Market Trends:

1. Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and threats.

Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market evaluations.

1. Enhance Biopharma Network:

Develop and nurture positive relationships with collaborators in the biopharma industry.

1. Attend industry conferences, networking events, and other relevant gatherings to expand Thermo Fisher Scientific's presence and influence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's or equivalent experience, and PhD degree or equivalent experience preferred).
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the pharmaceutical or biopharma industry.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and other relevant software applications.
  • Availability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
